Some Common Questions you may have before you invest

Am I investing in a piece of real estate?

NO. You are investing in a group of first mortgage notes on single family homes. Our portfolios consist of desirable homes in stable communities.  As an investor in a portfolio, you will have access to all the addresses and names of the purchasers of these homes. 

Is this legal?

Contract REIT is an investment platform and issuer of securities. Our Contract REIT offering is qualified by the EC as a Regulation a+ Tier 2 offering. We adhere to strict reporting requirements to benefit our investors. 

How do I really get 6-9%

Your investment is used as the funding for the cost of the underlying assets (homes). You are paid 6% on the actual amount of the mortgaged principle. Usually 25-30% over the cost. Your funds are leverage and allows for possible returns of 6-9% APR

Is my investment protected?

YES. All of our mortgages are underwritten by a licensed mortgage broker. All of your funds are backed by a performing portfolio of real estate mortgages. Our systems follow strict procedures to protect your investment and prioritize your return
